goal for may.
it's been a week since i've finished my last exam and i've had quite a slow week. i've tweaked my resume and prepped for interview questions, also, i've adapted my work out routine to focus on my shoulders and chest muscles groups. still, it feels like i've wasted a lot of time sitting at home. the post-grad life is not what it's cracked up to be. so far anyway.
for the next five weeks, i'm wanting to read one book per week. well, actually i've started this week and i'm hoping to finish my first book by the end of tomorrow.
book one is "The Catcher in the Rye" by JD Salinger. i have yet to pick my next book, but i have a pile of unread books on my desk to chose from.
100 more pages to go.

the jane austen book club
even with all this homework piling up, i have decided to start reading another book. i recently bought Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility... i know, my testosterone has probably dropped significant levels, but i'm opening myself up to new genres and this seems like a good place to start. S&S is Austen's first of six novels. Not saying i'm going to read them all, but Austen seems to have stood the test of time, so I'm sure there's something good in there. maybe not for the 24 year old male in 2011, but whatevs.
